Prehistoric Neanderthals used to draw ancient comics on their walls to give their spouses messages of love, longing or if the dishes need washing. Keep in touch with ancient ancestors with today’s Sweet Deal: P2500 instead of P5000 for 4 sessions of Basic Drawing Class at Phoenix One

With the belief that creativity livens the senses and soothes the mind, Phoenix One teaches the fundamentals of comic book drawing with four 4-hour classes geared toward discovering how to sketch images that tell thought-provoking and epic stories, and leave profound messages to those who view them. Days 1 and 2 of the training course are where students learn how to break down and draw the complicated parts of the human anatomy and where they learn how to put those body parts in action poses like arms flinging, bodies jumping off of cliffs or muscle bound legs kicking innocent messengers into bottomless pits. Day 3 concentrates on creating a functional and comprehensible character and telling a story capable of effectively bring dry eyes into a state of moist, trembling remorse. The last day focuses on the finishing details of comic drawing like lighting and inking the artwork. The course also helps comic apprentices appreciate the distinct characteristics of American, European comics and Japanese Manga, and differentiate between the styles, methods and techniques of various famous artists while building their own comfortable drawing style.

The Comic book drawing course will last for 4 days with classes that are 4 hours long. The classes are designed for students 14 years old and above. Gary Mayoralgo is the trainer of Pheonix One’s comic book drawing course. He trained under international comic book artists Whilce Portacio and Gilbert Monsanto. His published works include X-Force for Marvel Comics; and Everquest: Transformation, and Taleweaver for DC Comics.
