Swagger to sexification by attending Nesh J’s Jazz class which teaches the most basic steps in this rhythmic contemporary art. Students who enroll themselves in this one-and-a-half hour lesson are entitled to a heart-pumping and sweat inducing workout which involves a lot of rhythm and beat. The intimate class of 20 will be taught by Nesh J herself, who is experienced in multi-levels of dance, from toe pointing to teaching you how to dougie and even the little teapot. The lesson begins with a short warm-up and a few exercises to the tune of danceable hits like Everyday I’m Shufflin to prep the muscles before moving on to the simple choreography of the day. Students are required to come in comfortable attire that will allow them to freely move. Suggested pieces are jogging or sweat pants, or a loose shirt paired with super comfy sneakers, rubber shoes or dunks. An extra shirt, towel and a bottle of water are most encouraged as well, however trucker caps will not be necessary.

Nesh J, who has been passionately immersed in her craft since the tender age of three has been performing for various tv shows, music videos, concerts or corporate events. Like proper office attire, Nesh believes that dance has to be properly ironed and polished to come out beautiful, which embodies her mantra for her classes. Other than the aforementioned genre, Nesh is also familiar with other dances like Jazz or Jazz Funk and is a sought after dance coach, teaching in places like Planet Jupiter Studios, ABS-CBN Dance and St. Scholastica’s College-Manila’s Danz Edge. Not-so-experienced and no-experience class takers are more than welcome to learn from the Prima Jazzerina and Hip-Hopperina to gain ample knowledge and skill points to add to their Jack of All Trades, Expert at None list.
